Guidelines and terms governing membership and portal usage.
1. Eligibility for Membership
Membership to the Greater Bangalore Tax Practitioners Association is open to qualified Income Tax Practitioners (ITPs), and Sales Tax / GST Practitioners enrolled with relevant statutory bodies or eligible under the association constitution. All applications are subject to scrutiny and formal approval by the Managing Committee.
2. Accuracy of Submitted Documents
Applicants must ensure that all certificates, enrolment details, and identity documents submitted during the application process are true, complete, and authentic. Providing false or misleading documentation may result in immediate rejection or termination of membership.
3. Membership Fees & Renewals
Membership fees are levied in accordance with the rates approved by the association. Fees are non-refundable once an application has been approved and a membership number/certificate has been issued. Annual subscriptions must be renewed in accordance with the association's annual calendar.
4. Professional Code of Conduct
Members are expected to uphold high ethical standards, dignity, and integrity in their practice, adhering to the code of conduct prescribed by their respective professional governing councils and the constitution of GBTPA.
5. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India and the jurisdiction of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
