When applying for membership or submitting requests through the Greater Bangalore Tax Practitioners Association (GBTPA) portal, we collect personal and professional information including your name, contact details (email, mobile, address), practitioner registration details (STP / ITP / GSTP), and supporting verification documents.
2. Purpose of Collection
Your data is collected solely for the purposes of evaluating and administering membership applications, maintaining the official practitioner directory, issuing membership certificates, communicating association notices and study circle schedules, and processing membership fee transactions.
3. Document Security and Storage
All identity proofs (such as PAN, Aadhaar) and professional degree certificates uploaded during membership registration are stored in secured, private storage repositories with strict access control. These documents are never shared publicly or sold to third parties.
4. Online Payments
Online membership fee payments are processed securely through certified payment gateway partners (Cashfree Payments). GBTPA does not capture, store, or view sensitive payment card details or banking credentials on its servers.
